Hello Jay,

> The quality of the list? Must Museum-L strive for "ubermensch "
status?

With quality of the list I meant: keep it to museum related matters.
Within that frame there are no limitations. Please do not put words
in my mouth that I used nor meant to use, such as "Uebermensch".

In my mail I did not even try to summarize the kind of subjects I
regard not museum related. So again: please do not put words in my
mouth. This really is a bit misleading for it looks as if you are
quoting me. The deduction that my "attitude is naïve" really only is
based on your expectation of what I might think, and therefore not
valid.

Oops, I do not know why, but there is something in this sentence that
does make me think of Miss Universe with a brand new kitsch crown on
her head thanking all the beautiful people in the audience.

best wishes

Ton Cremers

(P.S. whether you like it or not, my name really is Ton, and not Tom)
