The Milan Historical Society in Milan, Ohio is puting together a trunk
show and would like the following terms defined.
        Mull (fabric)
        Drill (fabric)
        deLane of deLine (fabric)
        Diaper (fabri)
        Nankin (fabric)
 
        coffee sugar
        crushed sugar
 
        window paper
        Nic wood
        winterstrained oil
 
These terms come from a General Store ledger or journal dating from
1847.  The museum is interested in either finding the definations or
actual examples to these terms.  Please reply to Ellen Maurer at the
Milan Historical Society by phone 419-499-2968 weekdays.  Or you my relay
