To all of those who are responding to this subject:

I love the messages that are coming in response to this tangent. It
makes me feel like I actually know all of you. What each person
describes tells a lot about that particular individual.

Recently, there was one of those flaps on TV about how terrible the
internet is because it keeps us from engaging in personal
interaction. I can only speak for myself, but I feel that I get a
higher level of personal interaction from my computer contacts than I
get from many of my "real life" contacts.
