Beer Brewing Demonstration --AVAILABLE

As the Micro Brew revolution sweeps the nation it presents new
opportunities for museums. This living history demonstration interprets
home brewing of the circa 1800 period.

Brewing has a tremendous history in this country. This demonstration is
an effective way to engage visitors in a variety of discussions --
relating to foodways, agriculture, temperance, and a variety of other
topics.

We have performed and refined this demonstration over the past several
years at historic sites in Pennsylvania. We would like to expand our
venues and welcome invitations from any museum or historic site.

This brewing demonstration is an informative and exciting way to attract
many non-traditional museum visitors. This demonstration was devised
as an experiment to attract new visitors to museums and generally attracts
a younger crowd than found at many events. Media coverage has been quite
favorable at many demonstrations with good coverage of this unique
demonstration.

Interpretation can be tailored to your location or mission statement. We
have a wide variety of resource materials from which to research each
unique setting. We welcome comments or ideas from interested people and
would like an opportunity to discuss demonstrating at your historic site
or museum.
Please feel free to post or distribute this notice.
