Are there many museums that publish a magazine or magazines that you might
find on the newsstand? Of course I've thought of the Smithsonian
magazines, but others haven't occurred to me. I've been thinking of
launching an Underground Railroad- themed magazine, but am unsure if this is
an idea I should approach my museum with or simply try to pursue on my own.
(I've been involved with editing and publishing small magazines for the
last 20 years, so I know the vagaries involved in a project like this.)
