    The usual gripes are actually part of the process.  What I fail to
    understand is why people DEFEND museums (or gee, maybe it really
    isn't their fault so it's the city's fault) for paying the low
    salaries.  Those same communities seem to be able to pay high
    salaries for positions they value.  Remember that regardles
    of the issues--from a women's right to vote, civil rights, or even
    something as uninteresting as museum salaries--if people don't
    stop defending and start raising their voices--nothing and I do
    mean nothing will be done.
