Re: "G" in Pioneer life.

Go ahead and use Gun for "G".  This will be a perfect opportunity to
teach a bit of firearm safety along with your history curriculum. The
Eddie Eagle program teaches young children to, " Stop.  Don't touch.
Leave the area, and tell an adult" when they come across a firearm.
Education brings safety.  Ignorance and fear bring danger.
