Must it be digital? Electronics is not always the best answer.
We recently scanned and reprinted a scrapbook at 100% scale at one of our historic sites.
The original was about 11"X17," and I purchased a binder with plastic sleeves from 11x17.com, inserting reprints of the pages in the sleeve, and mounting the cover with a protective over-laminate to the binder cover.
This gives the visitor the "experience" of flipping through the pages. We utilize another one for reference, allowing the original to stay safe in storage.
Much as I like technology it really is faster to flip through pages rather than waiting for images to download!!!!
Be wary of technology for the sake of technology. One should always think of the visitor and ease of use first.

through the scrapbook pages. Does anyone know of a good platform or way of
doing this? Our concern is that people would be able to click out of the
program or could try to use the computer for other things. How could we get

This workshop, intended for galleries, libraries, musuems, archives, zoos, aquaria, and botanic gardens professionals with some experience in emergency planning for collections, will provide an overview of how to organize, deploy, and assess drills – to help staff put into practice emergency processes and procedures. Participate in a real behind-the-scenes drill at Disney with experienced drill planners and debrief with colleagues to learn how to develop drills for your organization. Space is limited for this workshop, with a maximum of 20 participants.
The workshop will then be followed by a FAM Mixer/ graduation ceremony for the Florida Connecting to Collection Program that will be held from 5-7pm at the Osceola County Heritage Society. More information on that event can be found here:
