In the midst of all the job finding talk, a comment was made regarding the
relevance of Museum Studies programs. It has been with my experience that in
addition to the required curriculum we are able to take collateral courses
that may aid when specializing in a field of interest. In additon to
learning current methodologies regarding collections management practices,
preventive conservation theories and practices and database management, I
have also completed 18 hours of graduate education courses.
