I have been researching a group of artists for an
article I am writing. Part of the article discusses
the possible connection between several 19th century
artist's work. Until now, I have never thought to ask
the local museum if they kept all of the old
guestbooks. If they did, I could check to see if the
artist in question was visiting the museum. If so, it
would help my argument.
I am sure there are a million other research projects
that would benefit.
Just my two cents.
