For the New York branch of our renowned contemporary art gallery client, we
are seeking a Sales Director.  The gallery's program emphasizes site-based
installation and multimedia work, in addition to painting and work on paper.
The successful candidate will work to develop, maintain and expand client
relations with private and corporate collectors, as well as commissioning
work for high-end luxury property and development projects.  The ideal
applicant will have at least 8-10 years experience in contemporary art
sales; excellent client contacts and relationship-building skills;
familiarity and strong professional contacts with the New York art gallery
and art fair world; knowledge of relevant developments in curatorial and
museum trends relating to contemporary art; and an ability to represent the
gallery in both professional and social settings.  BA in art history or
related required; MA a plus.  Excellent interpersonal and communications
skills are required, and a team-oriented approach is essential.  Salary

+++ Sales Associate, Rare Books, Las Vegas, NV +++

For the new Las Vegas branch of our world-renowned rare bookstore client we
are seeking Sales Associates.  The successful candidates will assist with
all aspects of sales, including telephone, mail order, retail and art fair
sales.  Duties include telephone and in-person client interaction and
relations; data entry, telephones, correspondence and other general
administrative functions; other duties as required.  The ideal applicants
will posses excellent correspondence, communications and computer skills and
be available to work weekends.  A widely-read and well-rounded liberal arts
background with a BA in English or other literature-related field is
essential.  Previous rare book and related sales experience a plus.  Salary
35K plus benefits.  Positions to start late 2007/early 2008 with a variety
