For information on how this is applied in the UK see
www.hants.gov.uk/TC/cg/photosintro.html, which gives Hampshire County
Council's interpretation of UK Data Protection legislation. In Hampshire
Museums Service we advise use of consent forms for all photographs whether
for print or web publishing. Copies can be seen at
www.hants.gov.uk/museum/hccms/forms/index.html
It is 'good practice' regardless of the law of the land to ask permission!
