> Position:  Working under the Botanical Education Specialist and Director

> Qualifications:  Undergraduate degree in botany, biology, horticulture, or
> related field required. Ability to work both independently and within a
> multi-disciplinary team required. Strong organizational skills required.
> Superior writing and oral communication skills required. Knowledge of
> informal learning theory and practice highly desirable. Knowledge of
> garden-based learning highly desirable. Graduate degree, or progress
> toward graduate degree, in botany, biology, horticulture, education,
> science education, or related field desirable. Teaching credential
> preferred. At least two years experience in developing and implementing
> informal or formal science education programs or in teacher training in
> botanical science required. Experience in classroom teaching or informal
> education required. Garden creation and maintenance experience highly
> desirable.
