Just some more advice.

Definitely apply even if you think you lack a few of the qualifications.  
I've found that a lot of places are very supportive to new graduates.  Even 
if they don't hire you they may give you key advice on how to spruce up your 
resume or refer you to other places that are looking to hire, that's how I 
got my current job ("sorry we can hire you here, but there's  another museum 
in the area that I know is looking for someone and I think you would be 
perfect").

Also, like was mentioned before, degree time is look at as some experience, 
as well as internships.  In the meantime, you should volunteer, try to go to 
workshops, try to go to conferences, network yourself.  Being on this 
listserve is another good start to networking yourself.  Also try to join 
museum associations.  There are associations for registrars, education, 
exhibits, administration, etc.

Finally, you might want to check the archives of this listserv.  This topic 
comes up a lot and you will probably find a lot more advice that way too.
