You've captured "it" in your post!

This is such an exciting idea. What chronologically "young" professionals,
and experientially "new" professionals deserve is an open door to
participation in the field, even as it changes from moment to
moment--making each of us "new" again. At its core, such a committee would
foster a generative spirit and openness to the "new" in all of its
contexts.
