Companies themselves are often an excellent source of older advertising.
Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Hercules, and DuPont, for example, all have
examples of advertising for a variety of products and a variety of time
periods.

The best places to go within a company are the archives, if they exist. If
not, communications departments should be able to help.
