Amanda,

You may find the following facebook groups of interest, assuming you
have connected to this element of the web. If you have you may wish to
create a group yourself. Many advantages to facebook groups over
standard listserves...can post video, pictures, edit content, etc...

Learning in Museums and Galleries - 658 members
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=5495064282

This group is for all interested in: Education, access, audience
development, interpretation, curating, digital interactions, websites,
marketing IN Museums, galleries, archives, heritage sites, heritage
libraries, arts centres

You can network with people in the sector, promote your projects,
share research, invite people to events, advertise work opportunities,
call for information and start off debates.

Clearly, I'm in Museum Studies for the Money! 600 members
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2224536155

Whether you are an art historian, historian, anthropologist,
paleontologist or anything else, you have a passion to work in a
museum. And hey, we may not be the richest people in the future, but
at least we'll love our jobs!

Artist Run Centers Unite! 723 members
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2250164028

A group for anyone who works, volunteers, or exhibits at an artist-run
center. The group is also for those who support artist-run centres and
those who support people who work, volunteer or exhibit at them.

Sincerely,

Terrence Quinlan
