Hi Jay,

Well the above is one perspective on it, but I have had equally positive
feedback from readers who actually LIKE discovering the satirical item for
themselves (without prior announcement).  Every attempt  is made to include
one satirical item per  week - to lighten up the day!

Of course a natural presumption we make is that our readership can discern
between fact and fiction -  cicadas as legal tender being a case in point !
And no.................... I don't think anone is seriously judging the
citizenry of the USA on the strength of this article.
