              Title:   Executive Vice President

   Description:   The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, a
privately funded non-profit museum, is
                       seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of
executive vice president and serve as chief
                       executive officer of the
organization.  Responsibilities include overall leadership of  museum
                       operations, fundraising, strategic planning,
financial management, board relations, and to
                       serve as an effective spokesperson for the
Center.  The Center is currently in the early stages
                       of a $5.5M capital campaign for improvements and
endowment. The executive vice
                       president is charged with all aspects of fundraising
to ensure adequate funding for annual
                       operating budget and special projects.  Duties will
include all campaign activities, planning
                       and implementing a comprehensive fundraising
program,  coordinating individual donor
                       campaigns as well as corporate solicitation, plan
and organize fundraising events, research
                       and writing grants. The ideal candidate will have a
minimum of five years of successful
                       fundraising and development experience with a proven
track record, senior management
                       qualifications, and knowledge of non-profit
financial management.  Background in
                       agriculture preferred.

                       The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame is
a unique 172-acre museum complex
                       dedicated to educating the public about the history
and importance of American agriculture.
                       Although federally chartered, the Center receives no
government support.  It is privately
                       funded through admissions, gift shop sales, facility
rentals, membership, and corporate, foundation and
                       individual donations.  The Center is governed by a
110 member board, and managed by a
                       twenty-member board of directors. For more
