MEMBERSHIP MANAGER

The Baltimore Museum of Art seeks a highly motivated and creative Membership Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of the Museum's membership program, including renewal, upgrade, and acquisition campaigns; member cultivation; prospect research; on-site promotion; and budget management.  The Membership Manager reports to the Director of Individual Gifts.  

The Membership Manager works with senior development staff to strengthen donor participation at all levels and with the Production and Database Coordinators to ensure timely mailings and accurate data entry, report production, and analysis. 

The successful candidate will have a college degree and a minimum of three to five years in successful membership-based fundraising.  Must have excellent verbal and writing skills and a thorough knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and development software-familiarity with Raiser's Edge is a plus.  Must be detail-oriented and highly organized and able to balance multiple tasks at one time.  The ability to work independently, as well as in a team-based environment is critical, as is the ability to supervise and motivate staff and volunteers.
