You might also try the Bertrand Museum at the DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge in Missouri Valley, Iowa. They have the contents of the Steamboat Bertrand which sank in 1865- similar story to the Arabia. A quick search online should turn up the results (read that as- unfortunately I don't have the website off the top of my head...):) 

I have spoken with the folks at the Bertrand many times, and they are very helpful and friendly.
