Hello to listers. Would anyone like to comment on the manner in which museums outside of the United States work to make their exhibits intellectually accessible and educationally available to a variety of visitor groups? I realize that this a huge question, but would like to get some comments on considerations that were particularly important when designing exhibits. (I am specifically not asking about outreach and educational programs, but features that are built into the exhibit, i.e. learning styles addressed, differently abled, etc.) What was at the top of your list? For the record, I am asking from a history museum point of view. Thanks in advance for letting me tap into your expertise.
Laura
