Luckily our network firewall has screened them out at work, but yesterday I
got 8 at my Yahoo account. 4 of them had been filtered to my bulk mail
folder and 4 came through as regular mail. DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENTS! If
you have Outlook, set it so that the messages don't automatically open and
attachments don't automatically open. And if you are sending a legitimate
message with a legitimate attachment, make sure your subject line is
specific to the content of your message so the recipient knows it's from you
and it's real, not a worm.

Be very, very careful. The sobig virus is just killing us and it usually
comes as an attachment with "re:something." Almost every computer on campus
has been infected and IT folks are pulling out their hair. Frankly, I'm not
opening any attachments, especially those from people I know. So, if you're
sending email requests, etc., to me, be aware that you might need to resend
it in a few days.
