EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
AMERICAN COTTON MUSEUM

New museum facility on ten acre site seeks experienced museum professional as
executive director. Located on Interstate 30 in Greenville, Texas, this 8500
square foot new facility houses the history of the cotton industry and its
impact on the local economy. The museum includes farm machinery, cotton gin
and compress, textile exhibits, an 1857 dogtrot style historic house, and a
log sharecropper's building.

Position requires strong management and interpersonal skills, understanding of
museum practices and standards, and ability to provide leadership in
implementation of goals. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of a
bachelor's degree and five years of museum management.
