The Saint Louis Art Museum is seeking an exceptional, highly motivated
museum professional as the Curator and department head for American and
European Art of the modern era.  A strong knowledge of early twentieth
century and contemporary art, especially in America and Germany, is
desirable.  Position requires experience in publications, exhibitions,
acquisitions and collection development.  Experience in collections
management and planning is desirable.  Candidates should have excellent oral
and written communication skills, fluency in one or more foreign languages,
and significant experience in art museums.  Master's degree required, Ph.D.
