I'm a newbie manager of an historic home with several outbuildings,
and need to purchase/set-up dataloggers in various buildings.

I'm eyeing a product made by Davis Instruments, the "Extech 42270"
that is a small sensor that can be moved to a docking station to
download the data to a computer. The docking station can be used with
multiple sensors. The price seems good, and I'm wondering if any of
you have experience with this product or this company that might help
me feel good (or bad?) about this decision. Here's a link:

Of course, general datalogger-selection advice and/or product
recommendations are very appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark Jensen
