Has anyone ever dealt with dismantling dioramas, which may
have been on exhibit for decades, and where specimens or
artifacts may have been treated with toxic substances, such
as arsenic or various fumagants. How was it handled? Any
recommendations? I am not involved in dismantling an
exhibit, but am using this information for my thesis titled
"Open Exhibits: A Conservation Challenge to Museums."

Please respond to [log in to unmask] Thank you for any
          information you may have.
