I am looking for potential panelists for a 2001 AAM Meeting Session on
human resources issues.  The session is on hot issues in HR, and is
sponsored by the AAM Alliance for Lesbian and Gay Concerns. Please email
me if you or someone you know would be interested.  Some of the topics
we'd like to talk about include:

1.  Flexible work hours (4 ten hour days or half day Fridays if you get
your
40 hours in before noon, or simply allowing employees to make their own
schedule like 7:00 am until 3:00 p.m)
2.  Casual dress
3.  Allowing employees to volunteer elsewhere for a certain amount of
hours a month
and get paid regular wages
4.  Museum-sponsored clubs such as sports, literary, performing arts,
music...
5.  Domestic partner benefits
6.  Huge Issue in the tight job market is attracting and retaining
employees....so you discuss internet recruiting, benefit programs that
set
you aside from the competition, etc...
7. Performance Management is big - pay for performance in end of year
bonus....
