The American Airpower Heritage Museum (AAHM), located at the 75-acre
Confederate Air Force Headquarters in Midland, Texas, is dedicated to
preserving the complete history of World War II military aviation and the
memory of the men and women who built, serviced and flew the historic
World War II military aircraft.

The AAHM web site offers an on-line photo tour of the museum exhibits
gallery and the Confederate Air Force facilities. Also on the web
site is general information about the museum, upcoming events,
educational and tour programs, and local tourism opportunities.

The on-line tour includes narrative descriptions of the exhibits and
informative discussions about the events, people, and machines involved
in World War II. The galleries include exhibits on:

o Wars and Rumors of Wars: The Decade Before Pearl Harbor
  o Aviation Nose Art Gallery
o The Home Front Gallery: A Sleeping Giant Awakens
o Midland Army Air Field Gallery
  o Military Air Transport Gallery
o Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs)
o Airborne Gallery: Parachutes and Gliders
o Bombing In World War II Gallery
o Fat Man and Little Boy: Birth of the Atomic Age

The Confederate Air Force preserves in flying condition the world's
largest collection of combat aircraft flown by the U.S. during World War
II. Along with the museum's exhibits, a number of these aircraft are
always on display for museum visitors to see and inspect.

The Confederate Air Force, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)3 corporation.
