The only place I have stayed in NYC is the Y - the Vanderbilt YMCA is
definately the nicest, as far as Y's go. It is always a little scary when you
first get there - the rooms are truly tiny, the televisions are HUGE, and the
bathrooms are down the hall, but the rooms are only about $50 or $60 a night.
After spending all day walking around New York, I could probably sleep almost
anywhere.
