Another thought--you speak of "authentic Bartholdi models." I know that Bartholdi made a few terra cotta maquettes of the statue, including one which is about 4 feet tall. We had one in ou posession for a period of years, and it is now in the Pedestal of the NYCity Statue of Liberty. Other maquettes are owned by the Musee Bartholdi in Colmar, France. Tell me what you want these for, and perhaps I can direct you to a few places.

Hello fellow Listers:

Dows anybody know of a museum or other institution that may have in their
collection a model of Bartholdi's "Statue of Liberty?" Perferably one with
a light up torch. I'm looking for authentic Bartholdi models, not
contemporary replicas.

Anybody know of one?

thank you!
