The best person I know in this quite restricted field is Dr. John Braaksma, a
professor in the Civil Engineering Dept at Carleton University, Ottawa,
Ontario. John can be best reached at home: (613) 692-4788, as I don't have his
current office numbers.

John's specialty is traffic/circulation design and he has done a lot of work in
different kinds of public institutions, including museums and airports. His
final year architecture students at Carleton have done four case studies at
this museum, involving my predecessor Jenny Cave and I. On top of all his
teaching, research and consulting, John also writes a column called "The
Traffic Doctor".

If you have trouble contacting him, call me at (819) 776-7122 and I'll track
him down for you.
