Another idea on this might be to devote an exhibit case in the introductory
gallery or the foyer of the museum on the objects that are newly conserved -
especially recognizing those that have been adopted. This can be done on a
periodic basis.

You can even consider getting "action" photos of the conservator at work, the
usual before, during, and after shots, and even the tools involved in the
project.

I have seen a similar concept done in several institutions with objects in a
"New Accessions" exhibit.
