The Toledo Museum of Art is seeking a Curator or Associate Curator of Graphic Arts.  Our graphic arts collection consists of over 10,000 works on paper, including prints, watercolors, photographs, some drawings and illustrated manuscripts, rare early printed books and modern illustrated artists' books. 
Major responsibilities of the position toward this collection include its care, conservation and documentation; accessions; research and publication; exhibitions, interpretation and education.  Candidates for this position should have minimum of a M.A. (Ph.D. preferred) in art history, connoisseurship skills, broad knowledge of graphic arts, knowledge of foreign languages (French, German, Italian) excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and planning abilities, and three to five years related curatorial experience. The successful applicant will be sensitive to the importance of building new and diverse audiences and be able to communicate to others the joys and meanings of works of art.
