Sharon,
I think that it depends of your project, it depends of the building, it
depends of the money....

The Please Touch Museum of Philadelphia US has a ratio of 35% for the
exhibits, 25% office, 25% public space, 15% storage  for a total square
footage of 38,000.

The Hamilton Children's Museum of Hamilton, Ont. Canada has a ratio of
50% exhibits, 40% office, 5% public space, 5% storage for a total square
footage of 2,000.
