The National Park Service is using Re:Discovery with an Archives Module
component. I believe it has been customized for NPS specific needs. I have
limited experience with it as a curator within the NPS. I had three archivist
working with the program. The search engine seems fantastic, producing
finding aids was a bit clunky, they did have the ability to produce MARC
records although we never did. Not sure how much NPS version is like the
off-the-shelf variety. Lack of a good manual was a problem, probably NPS's
not Re:Discovery. NPS pays an annual fee for support and its absolutely
great. Hope that helps
