The exhibits department at the Southern Oregon Historical Society at
Medford/Jacksonville, OR will be installing a hands-on style exhibit on
carpentry/woodworking in its Children's Museum. We are currently looking
for other children's museums who have installed similar exhibits in order
to obtain information which might be useful for us as we set ours up. Our
exhibit will feature a typical woodworker's/carpenter's shop at the turn
of the century. We plan to utilize a hands-on, activity-based approach.
If you think you could supply us with relevant information about your
program, please contact the Southern Oregon Historical Society, Attn: Matt
Strieby, 106 N. Central, Medford, OR 97501. Phone: (503) 773-6536, FAX:
(503) 776-7994.

Thank you.
