It is generally believed that camp-ins were born at COSI (Center for
Science and Industry) in Ohio. I'm at home and don't have their address
bu they are in the AAM directory. Most science museums have camp-in
programs. The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Tampa has had one
for about ten years the Program Manager for Camp-ins is Michael
Hulslander, the phone number is (813) 987-6300. Another good source of
information is the Association of Science and Technology Centers in
Washington, DC (202) 783-7200.
