 EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

New Jersey Chamber Music Society, in Montclair, NJ is seeking a dynamic and
experienced professional with strong leadership, audience development,
marketing, and management skills.  The Executive Director administers the
business affairs of the Society and its staff and reports directly to the
Board of Trustees.  The Director is responsible for the following:

· Initiate fund raising activities, including grant writing, soliciting
foundation, corporate and other private and public support.
· Develop and implement marketing, publicity, and audience development
strategies
· Supervise the Society's educational programs
· Work closely with the Classical Music and Jazz Artistic Directors in
coordinating performances and engagements of the NJCMS
· Develop and manage the annual budget

The Executive Director will maintain the high standards and community
rapport of the Society, and bring innovation and creativity to new
activities that further its objectives.

Qualifications:
3-5 years experience with music or non-profit arts organization. Experience
in fundraising, programming, audience development, and strategic planning
required. Advanced degree preferred. Experience as a musician is a plus.
Salary: Low to Mid $50's, plus excellent benefits.
