** The way of the dinosaur
Even I was impressed by mamenchisaurus jingyanensis (how Chinese a name is
that?), standing 28m (two bus-lengths) long in its late Jurassic days
(before it was just a bag of bones) weighing in at 50 tonnes, about the
weight of eight elephants.

** New exhibit at The Science Center of Connecticut features prehistoric
past
Dinosaur fans will have a lot to sink their teeth into this year at the
Science Center of Connecticut, which is hosting a succession of major
exhibits on prehistoric creatures

** A Taste for Dinosaurs
As long as dinosaurs roamed the earth, our distant ancestors never got to be
much more than cringing, shrew-like creatures that slinked out at night to
nibble timorously on plants and insects when the terrible lizards were
asleep

** New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science Fossil Collection
online

** Triassic / Jurassic Symposium Art Show

** "Hatching the Past" at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, Va.

What our readers say:

Thank you for an interesting, useful site. I recommend it to teachers who
continue to contact me after 6 years of retirement. I also volunteer at the
local science museum and recommend your site to the many children who visit
it.
Marvin Selnes, Sioux Falls, SD

Thank You for the excellent coverage you've given my ongoing research.
Best regards,
Marilyn D. Wegweiser, Ph.D., Affiliate Faculty, Idaho Museum of Natural
History
