Bookkeeper - Curatorial Assistance, Inc.


Curatorial Assistance specializes in the preparation and ciculation of art
exhibitions world wide. We are a small arts organization based in Pasadena,
Calfifornia, and require a part-time bookkeeper.

Bookkeeper duties include the management of accounts payable/receivable,
and the tracking of time billing for about 35 traveling exhibitions. Most
of our administraton is MAC based, and our accounting is run on MAC
QuickBooks. Museum experience is not necessary for this position but would
be desirable.

While our bookkeeping need is part-time, a suitable applicant with skills
and/or interest in other areas of museum services, and who is willing to
work full-time, could be assigned additional duties including exhibition
registration and preparation as might be appropriate.

We do require that applicants have excellent oral and written communication
skills and by highly organized. Salary is negotiable according to
experience and we do provide health insurance benefits after 12 months of
full-time employment.
