Hi all-

The Smart Museum is going to have some major HVAC work done in the
near future, and we are trying to plan for the worst case scenario
should the system fail during the work.  I am mostly concerned with
short outages in humidity that will cause a rapid drop in RH, then
immediately go back into spec, since this is what will likely happen
if a problem occurs.

Since I don't have a conservator on staff, I'm wondering how
institutions that do handle re-starting this system when this type of
problem occurs?  Is it better to have the system kick back in
immediately (and get a spike), or to gradually raise up the RH after a
drop (say in a 24 hour period)?
