Is anyone aware of a museum library (or other library) that has a
substantial collection of ICOM microfiche of museological literature? We
have approximately 2500 microfiche of ICOM indexed documents, including
bulletins, journals, and other museum publications, annual reports, and
the cultural property acts of many nations. Are these materials of
importance to the museum community? Since I have been here at the Museum
Reference Center, they have not been consulted and I am wondering is it
because no one knows they are here, or because there is not a current
research need for these items. I would appreciate any comments or
referrals to other collections. Thanks.
