Hi all,
Search as I may, I can't find an appropriate term for an original artwork from which a mass-produced advertising poster is to be produced. Specifically, I'm working with a collection of mixed-media comps (originals) for rock concert posters (mass-produced). What nomenclature should we use for the comps? 

The comps range from pencil drawings to painted boards to back-painted cells to digital prints with overpainting, etc.
