Dekalb Historical Society has quite a bit of military pieces from the Battle of Atlanta, I believe their collection is partly from MARTA construction however, rather than road work. I know there is a state museum in the works using the things that used to be in the museum in the capital, and I hear there is storage outside of town, maybe they have the pieces.

(I lived about 1/4 mile from the North Druid Hills shell, i remember thinking that was such a cool thing)
