Dear Ms. Falk,
        I couldn't agree with you more! I was thinking just the
same when I read the posting. I just feel that this is another sign
 of how much value our society puts on education. People who
 remove our trash most likely get paid much more than that.
 (Let me say that I don't envy their job either and I appreciate
 people who have to put up with an unpleasant job such as that.)
 Also look at professional sports. Here people get paid millions
at times for playing a game. I think that this is some indication
where our society puts it's values.
        Yes I understand that museums many times have a hard
 time making ends meet, but it is still hard to accept pay levels
such as this. Museums by the way are not the only educational
 institutions who pay little. Our schools, while sometimes paying
a passable waople make at a fast food
restaurant.
