i find this whole discussion ironic considering several weeks ago the
topic of requiring certification for museum employees was addressed!
what is the difference for some of us wanting certification (which people
think would lead to higher salaries???) and getting an MA in museum
studies?  The reality is that no degree guarentees you a job and no
certificate will guarentee you a higher pay.
