Lauren Lantos asked:
>Can you send us any other info about this MacWorld Net publishing project?
>We (the AAM publications staff) would like to get involved. Where and when
>would help, for starters. Also, can you tell us how to go about
>registering and any other info you have?

The MacWorld Exposition is a trade show held around the country. I've
never been but the next one is in Washington, D.C., May 10-12. I don't
know where. The ad in the May MacWorld gives this address and phone
for information:

Mitch Hall Associates
260 Milton Street
Dedham, MA 02026

FAX: 617-361-3389
TEL: 617-361-8000

The Virtual Newspaper is an experiment that I found out about on
the online-news listserv for newspaper folks going online. It was
attempted at another trade show (Seybold, I think) a month or so
ago without great success I gather. I'd contact the people named
in the previous post for more details, or perhaps someone at the
Smithsonian could tell us what they're doing?

This sounds like something to check out if you're Mac-based and
interested in getting your museum in on-line via e-newspapers. Imagine
being able to put a brochure of your exhibit in the e-paper instead of
depending on a review or taking out ads!

Hope this helps.
