Dear Museum-L'ers,

I wanted to thank you for your replies regarding our search for videographers.

I am posting an additional query here for our director's assistant, Paul
Musgrave. I thank you all in advance for your responses!

O

Olivia Anastasiadis, Curator
Nixon Presidential Materials Staff
(714) 983-9125

The Nixon Presidential Materials Staff, a part of the federal National Archives
and Records Administration, will be filming oral history interviews at the NARA
regional facility on Varick St. from April 2 to April 6, 2007. We will be
conducting full day shoots (from 9:30 to 5:00, not necessarily including setup
time) on all days except for Thursday, April 5, when we will be filming only in
the morning. Please submit your bids and two references no later than
Monday, March 26. We are interested in having your bid even if you can only
assist us on some or one of the days listed above.

The participants will include one or two interviewers and one interviewee.
Save for establishing and closing wide shots, only the interviewee will appear
on film in a static head-and-shoulders shot. Each participant will be miked,
and we prefer that the interviewee's audio be on a separate track, although
this is not strictly necessary. It is almost certain that lighting will be required.

It is absolutely critical that the film used be broadcast-quality. We will require
the master tapes and a separate DVD copy.

Please note if you have conducted business with the federal government
before (or if you have a DUNS number and are registered with CCR) or if you
accept payment by Visa (not including PayPal). If you have not, it is important
that we know as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. If you are unable to
shoot on this particular day, please let us know the name and contact
information of someone who may be able to complete this project. The
contractor selected for this project will participate in a part of American
history.

Sincerely,
Paul Musgrave
Special Assistant to the Director
Nixon Presidential Materials Staff
