To the person who responded from the Brooklyn Museum:

As a matter of academic dignity museum professionals and other social
scientists should not have to pretend to live happily on miserable
salaries.  Part time jobs, adjunct positions, no medical insurance, no
options to improve on one's quality of life is where people get their
information from.
